Listener Supported Catholic Radio

Baraga Broadcasting is a lay initiative that is supported by Bishop Patrick R. Cooney.
We welcome volunteers who are willing to share their time, talent, or treasure.  Without your participation, Baraga Broadcasting would cease to exist.  Join with us in our mission to bring Catholic Radio full circle in Northern Lower Michigan. 

Though many of you are outside of the listening area of WTCK--90.9 FM, Charlevoix, W221CA 92.1 Gaylord and W237CF 95.3 Mackinaw City we still need your help to achieve our goal of broadcasting Catholic Radio throughout our Diocese.  If only one person were to volunteer from each parish in the Diocese--we would have 81 volunteers. 

Many of the volunteer opportunities are accomplished within your own parish setting and many more can be performed on a computer in your own home or office.  As stated by Pope John Paul II,  "Radio offers perhaps the closest equivalent today to what Jesus was able to do with large groups through his preaching.  Radio is an intimate medium…[and] may well be the most effective means of reaching large numbers of people."  Join with us in our evangelistic mission, give it some thought……...become a volunteer!
